IT Support Engineer
3-5 Years of Relevant experience with Linux Administration
Job Location: Gurugram Position Type: Contract
Relevant Experience : Min 3 years of experience working on Linux (Expert level), Windows Sever, Hardware and VMware
Educational Qualification : Bachelors/Master’s Degree in any stream (engineering background preferred).
Job Description :
Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Linux administration, monitoring and troubleshooting
Scripting knowledge with bash/perl to accomplish day to day system administration and automation task
Knowledge of IT Infra hardware
Server Deployment, commissioning and decommissioning
Working knowledge of VI editor
Linux user management and file permissions
Knowledge of Linux versions like RHEL, CentOS, SUSE, Ubuntu
Server provisioning, Patching, vulnerability remediation
Server monitoring and performance tuning
Hands on knowledge of Linux utilities for monitoring and troubleshooting
Should have good communication skills.
Have basic understanding of virtual network on ESXI/ Hypervisor.
